it's voting time

i am determined to take a trip at the end of the summer. you never realize how long a year of work is until you don't have "vacations" to break things up.
if i don't have something to look forward to, i will burn out.

SO

choice 1: paris, and then possibly on to luxembourg



















+ One of my good friends is the Colombian Cultural embassador to France, and she just had a baby, so I want to visit her...plus, embassador status means perks!
+ Tons of culture, history, and sights to be seen
+ Old roommate is attending university in Luxembourg...meaning good opportunity to see the place, because otherwise i'd never think to go there
-The Euro is a bitch
-It will be chilly



choice 2: sydney and new zealand

















+ great weather, beach, tons of activities
+ english
+ WINE WINE WINE...best vineyards in the world.
- sadly wine is not near sydney, so i'd have to travel extensively throughout the country to see what i want to see (i mean taste what i want to taste)
- i have very weak-to-no connections there


i think i'm leaning toward gay ole paris, but we'll see. i'm starting to get excited though! this shall be my 23rd bday present to myself. along with a new bag and a new phone. time to live a little.
